Where wireless charging is actually used
Wireless charging earns its place in four settings: the bedside table, the office desk, the car and the retail shelf. Each one asks for a different shape and a different set of priorities, and reading the setting first is what keeps a project from building a product nobody repeats buying.
Bedside and hotel
Bedside charging is about doing it half-asleep: the phone has to land in the right place without being looked at, and the light has to be soft enough not to wake anyone. A low-angle stand or a flat pad with a magnetic array solves the first problem; a dimmed indicator solves the second. Hotels and serviced apartments buy these units in volume because they also remove a cable that guests would otherwise take home.
Desk and office
On a desk the phone is a second screen, so the stand angle matters more than the charge rate. A 15W magnetic stand holds the phone upright in a readable position and keeps one cable on the desk. Multi-device bases take the same idea further: phone, earbuds and a watch charge from a single wall socket, which is what office and hot-desk deployments ask for.
Car
In a car the constraints are vibration, heat and glare. A magnetic mount has to keep the phone steady on a rough road and survive a dashboard in summer without the phone reducing its charge rate. Vent and dashboard fixings both work; the deciding factor is usually where the driver wants the phone to sit.
Retail and OEM programmes
Retail buyers care about the shelf: finish, colour and carton artwork carry most of the perceived value, and the product image decides the click-through. Colour, finish, moulded or printed logo, cable, travel case and retail carton are all editable from a 200 pcs trial order per model, and packaging can be re-drawn for marketplaces with your own labels and barcode.

Four decisions settle most wireless projects: the shape (pad, stand, car mount or multi-device base), the alignment method (magnetic array or free placement), the finish (aluminium, ABS, fabric or bamboo) and the packaging.
